ABOUT
ME

I am a registered private continence and urology nurse with extensive experience supporting individuals living with various bladder conditions.

 

I am dedicated to providing compassionate, discreet, and highly personalised care to help patients manage continence and catheter issues with confidence. I work collaboratively with local urologists and healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient.

 

I specialise in continence assessment, catheter management (supra pubic catheters, in-dwelling urethral catheters and intermittent catheters) and tailored care plans designed to meet each person’s unique needs.

 

I am deeply passionate about what I do and committed to enhancing my patients’ dignity, independence, and overall quality of life. My goal is to create a supportive service where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their care journey.

Catheter Care and exchanges

Supra-pubic or in-dwelling urethral catheters should be changed reguarly by an experienced Registered Nurse. I provide in - home visits for catheter exchanges or support for patients with mobility issues and also run a catheter clinic in Port Macquarie for patients to attend.

Catheters and equipment can be provided at a cost, or you may supply your own.

Intermittent catheter education and support

For patients who manage their bladder condition with "in / out" catheters but need more support. I can help you troubleshoot common issues such as recurrent urinary tract infections, discomfort or incorporating self catheterising into your daily life.

Continence Assessments

Urinary incontinence is a common and embarrassing issue that requires expertise and compassion. I  provide comprehensive continence assessments with the aim to tailor a plan for each individual that will enhance confidence, dignity and quality of life. 

Consultations

Consultations can be in your home or via telehealth.

Catheter clinics take place at the Urology Centre. 3 Highfields Circuit, Port Macquarie.

Catheter exchange fee includes consumerables (including lignocaine) EXCEPT for the catheter, leg bags, overnight drainage bags, valves or legs straps / securement devices. You are welcome to supply your own or please see consumerables list if purchasing.
